About My Clients
I work with adults primarily ages 20-45. I incorporate aspects of mindfulness, self-compassion, and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) into counseling. I would love to provide a warm and supportive environment for you to be able to process your world in a safe space.
My Background and Approach
I spent my first few years as a therapist working for a non-profit agency serving clients in Warren County, OH. Personal experience has taught me the value of counseling. I believe in therapy because of how it has helped me throughout my life. I believe the therapeutic relationship between counselor and client is a key piece of therapy. Because of this, I see therapy as a partnership between the client and the therapist working together. Meeting you where you are and being able to help you feel seen and heard is my first priority. We can decide together how we address the concerns that you come into therapy with. We may work on tools and techniques, or you may choose to spend our time talking about what is bothering you in a safe place.
