About My Clients
My clients feel absolutely stuck. They feel like that one unexpected pothole in the road can leave them feeling like the world has come crashing down. Like life is a never-ending uphill battle with obstacles at every turn. My sort of client is the kind of person who has been keeping it all together, because it feels f-ing terrifying to imagine what would happen if it all fell apart. My clients have gotten good at stuffing their troubles down and now its bigger, more confusing, and time for help.
My Background and Approach
I help my clients take control again. We work together to make you the driver of your own ship (or whatever that phrase is.) You need someone to listen without judgement and someone to tell you the truth. You need someone to help you pick yourself up when you can’t do it on your own and someone to cut the bullshit when life has already given you that. My work with young people is vast. I incorporate nature, art, music, and more into my work because I believe that these forms of expression are connected to our cores. From wilderness therapy, to transitional living programs, to residential treatment centers, online, in person, over the phone and on a muddy trail with rain pelting down on us both, I’ve helped a lot of young people get unstuck and discover who they want to be.
