My Background and Approach
What makes my approach different is how I blend evidence-based techniques with a warm, down-to-earth presence. I use tools like EMDR, mindfulness, and play therapy (for younger clients) to help you move beyond coping and toward real, lasting change. I specialize in working with deep thinkers, high achievers, and highly sensitive individuals—people who often look like they’re holding it all together on the outside but are carrying a lot on the inside. In our work together, you’ll gain practical skills, emotional clarity, and greater self-compassion. I create a calm, supportive space where healing can unfold at your pace. Whether you're seeking support for your child, your teen, or yourself, I’m here to help you feel more grounded and confident as you move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I do not profess to know all the answers and strive to live a life of continued growth and learning, especially when it's difficult. I view myself as a global citizen and aim to be a servant leader within my community. When I'm not in session, I prefer reading or being outdoors with my husband, son and dog, hiking, biking or enjoying a workout at our local gym.
