High levels of stress can interfere with relationships, parenting, work, self-care and health. Therapy can support you in cultivating a sense of well-being and balance in your life as well as help you overcome specific mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and addictive behaviors.

I work with women who are struggling with overwhelming anxiety. Sometimes this includes problems with their relationships, their identity, spiritual issues, eating issues, and grief. My clients often come to me wanting to better themselves, but in a different way than they have been trained. They can achieve, tough it out, and make other people happy, but aren’t really happy themselves. They seem FINE on the outside, but anxiety lingers underneath. They want enjoyment, connection, and to be free

There comes a point for many of us when we realize that we don’t want to face our problems alone. We are human after all, and a part of what defines that humanity is our need for each other. I understand how frightening it can be to let people in and get close. You may tend to give more than you get back. You might feel self-critical. You might not know what it is you're needing. I'm here to join you and to help you find the connection and purpose you may be seeking.

My clients are burnt out from seeking external validation, people pleasing and avoiding conflict. They question how they should feel or are overwhelmed when they do feel and have likely been told somewhere along the way that they are ‘too much’ or ‘too sensitive.’ They desire relief from uncertainty, anxiety and a sense of aloneness but the tools they have aren’t providing sustainable change.
My clients are successful professionals who, despite their external success, often feel hampered by their private thoughts. They are frequently people on edge and who spend too much time analyzing the day's or past conversations, rehashing them repeatedly. Often these thoughts get in the way of their relationship, hobbies, and enjoying life to its fullest. I use cognitive and mindfulness technics to help people finding a new way forward.
I am drawn to those who are in transition or processing a loss of some sort; of romantic relationships, careers, loss of family members, or grieving parenting they didn't receive. I love to work with people who are struggling with issues of self esteem, shame, and anxiety. I find it very rewarding to help individuals to develop a stronger relationship with themselves using self compassion and acceptance and then to help individuals empower themselves to make wanted changes.
I want to understand the nuances of your story. I frequently meet with people who have doubts about seeking help, or last time they tried therapy it didn’t work out. Many of my clients have been told something was wrong with them, that they are not normal, and that their values and preferences are not acceptable. Sometimes they have taken this on and come to believe it to be true. I’d be honored to talk with you as you continue trying new things and moving toward your hoped-for life.
I help men and women get control of old thinking patterns and heavily conditioned emotions to get to where they want to be personally and professionally. Many clients come to me after struggling repeatedly by trying to “fix” themselves on their own or have attended traditional therapy sessions with minimal results. Clients who want to get better, but will power is diminishing. Together, we find and fix what was developed from past experiences that conditioned the brain into current struggles.

I help adults who are dealing with challenges in the present, but they know there is something deeper affecting their coping. My clients are interested in taking a deeper dive into their past, understanding the impacts from their early relationships, and improving their understanding of how these experiences have shaped their view of themselves.
