I know how difficult and intimidating it can be to find the right therapist and to me it is of the utmost importance that you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning. Together we will help you find the words, gain clarity, transform self-doubt and self-criticism, into self acceptance, and self-confidence; and find more effective ways of coping with difficult emotions.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative and integrative, rooted in motivational internship and a holistic view of the person as a whole while drawing on CBT & DBT perspectives. I am committed to creating a nonjudgmental, culturally-sensitive, empathic environment, as well as using levity, to help you cope and make meaning, gain insight into underlying patterns, find solutions, and access your strengths and potential.

I am well versed in numerous evidence based practices and am open to using whatever strategies best suit your needs. My goal is to provide you with tools to find a more fulfilling way of living; therapeutic tools that you can utilize in all aspects of your life. When leaving our sessions you will come away with insight, self-acceptance, healthy boundaries.
