About My Clients
You had it all timed out. But you didn’t think you would still be waiting right now. Waiting to test. Waiting to transfer. Waiting for Cycle Day One to begin again. You feel alone. Not to mention scared, angry, sad, and exhausted. You feel behind as you watch your friends welcome new babies to their families. When will it be your turn? You don't need to weather this storm by yourself. Therapy is a soft place to land during this complicated season.
My Background and Approach
After going through my own experience of expanding my family, I decided to take what I had learned and felt during that time and combine it with my education and training as a therapist. So now, I focus on working with people who would like some extra support as they navigate this uncertain season of their lives. I have completed post-graduate work on Counseling for Fertility. I am a member of RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Mental Health Professional Group. I have completed the ASRM Mental Health Professional Certificate Course. I am also a Trained Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) clinician and I offer ART sessions to clients who want to process the trauma of miscarriage, stillbirth, complicated birth, etc.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
One of the things I enjoy most about living in the Bay Area is the diversity. In my practice, I welcome adults of all ages, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and religions. When I'm not seeing clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching football, and studying Spanish.
