Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a brain disorder that is typically characterized by a lack of impulse control, an inability to focus and pay attention, and hyperactivity. ADHD most commonly emerges in children and teens and can continue into adulthood. In fact, ADHD is the most common mental health disorder diagnosed in young people and sufferers often have trouble paying attention in school. ADHD must be diagnosed by a qualified clinician. In addition to medical interventions, seeing a mental health practitioner who specializes in the treatment of ADHD can help patients and their families better cope with many of the symptoms. My client population primarily comprises BIPOC, sexually and gender-diverse individuals navigating stress, trauma, self-esteem issues, relationship/family conflict, homelessness, depression/anxiety, identity exploration, polyamory, culture-specific challenges, and other life stressors/transitions. I am deeply interested in working with individuals from historically marginalized communities.
I value being able to work with my clients throughout there therapeutic journey. I find it important that clients are able to grow and learn about themselves. When clients are able to get to know themselves they are able to get a better understanding of their emotions, behaviors and thoughts. My goals is to empower each client I work with. Our mind is extremely powerful and instead of it taking over your capabilities I want to work with to gain back control of yourself.
I am passionate about working with clients with diverse racial, spiritual, gender, and sexuality backgrounds handling anxiety, depression, trauma, and burnout. Together, we learn about the mind, body, and the various parts of ourselves that come up as we navigate life’s stressors and transition. We explore the meaningful ways you want to engage with yourself and others.

Clients I work with come in for an array of reasons ranging from day-to-day stressors to overcoming unresolved trauma. My clinical experience involves providing individual, group and family counseling to children, adolescents/teens, adults, and families. I have assisted these clients in working through complex trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, interpersonal conflict, LGBTQIA+ issues, and life transitions.
I primarily work with LGBTQ clients, BIPOC clients, immigrants or children of immigrants, and those with autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, and low self-esteem. And since I work with many marginalized populations, it is important to me that clients understand how their struggles are impacted more by society than by themselves.
