About My Clients
The population and particular groups that I am interested in working with are adult men and women. My practice focuses on people who have issues with mental health issues such as, anxiety, depression, relationship issues (family, friends, co-workers) as well as substance use problems. When working with me in therapy, people can expect someone who is supportive and will provide guidance for their issues.
My Background and Approach
Social work is not my first career; originally, I was a teacher. What makes me well-suited to be a social worker is my compassion and empathy for people as well as my curiosity as to how other people see the world. I have previously worked in the following settings: Rehabs, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. My experiences with every client I have met along the way have shaped my practice in ways that I could not have imagined. People have taught me more by allowing me to interact with and work with them.
