About My Clients
I love to work with introspective individuals who are facing life transitions or relational difficulties that they're having trouble making sense of. I help people make meaning out of struggle and uncover their strongest, most authentic Self.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my M.S. in School Counseling from Portland State in 2012. I am well-acquainted with the unique challenges of working with children and adolescents and I strive to be a supportive adult to help kids and their families navigate family changes, depression, and anxiety. I've spent the past four years broadening my clinical practice to include more individual work with young adults and adults who are coping with depression, anxiety, relational stress, and life transitions. I work from a client-centered perspective and seek to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients in every session. I take an eclectic approach to my practice, utilizing a variety of different techniques in order to best fit the needs of each individual. I am well-versed in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Narrative therapy, as well as sand tray therapy and other creative therapy techniques.
