Dr. Mercianna Oliver is a licensed professional counselor who works with clients to provide individual counseling and coaching services. Mercianna believes in empowering clients to be their most authentic selves by focusing on the power of narrative and self-talk to redefine their stories.
My Background and Approach
Mercianna has received training in a variety of counseling settings, utilizing an integrated model of Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Narrative and Adlerian therapies to help clients resolve issues. As a board-certified counselor, Mercianna specializes in anger and stress management, anxiety, work conflict and cross-cultural issues. Mercianna also provides career, financial, and wellness coaching to clients seeking to meet specific goals. Dr. Oliver, a proud Xavier University of Louisiana alumna, holds a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer University.
