Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a brain disorder that is typically characterized by a lack of impulse control, an inability to focus and pay attention, and hyperactivity. ADHD most commonly emerges in children and teens and can continue into adulthood. In fact, ADHD is the most common mental health disorder diagnosed in young people and sufferers often have trouble paying attention in school. ADHD must be diagnosed by a qualified clinician. In addition to medical interventions, seeing a mental health practitioner who specializes in the treatment of ADHD can help patients and their families better cope with many of the symptoms. I primarily work with LGBTQ clients, BIPOC clients, immigrants or children of immigrants, and those with autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, and low self-esteem. And since I work with many marginalized populations, it is important to me that clients understand how their struggles are impacted more by society than by themselves.

I have experience working with a variety of needs and diagnoses, particularly adults who struggle with depression, anxiety disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, behavioral management concerns, ADHD, and self-esteem issues.
Perhaps you've experienced depression, anxiety, or the loss of a loved one and are trying to make sense of it all. Perhaps you've never had the space to explore your feelings toward your sexuality or gender identity. I strive to offer a safe space to get in touch with these feelings and explore without reservation. I work with adults and young adults and draw from an eclectic blend of therapeutic techniques to meet your needs.
I work well with clients who are focusing on emerging adulthood, coming of age, and life transitions such as ending high school and college and beginning the workforce. Individuals struggling with anxiety around becoming an adult and gaining their independence will find healthy ways to cope with these changes, space to process the struggles they are facing, and will have the opportunity to work towards their goals that we discuss in sessions.
