Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a brain disorder that is typically characterized by a lack of impulse control, an inability to focus and pay attention, and hyperactivity. ADHD most commonly emerges in children and teens and can continue into adulthood. In fact, ADHD is the most common mental health disorder diagnosed in young people and sufferers often have trouble paying attention in school. ADHD must be diagnosed by a qualified clinician. In addition to medical interventions, seeing a mental health practitioner who specializes in the treatment of ADHD can help patients and their families better cope with many of the symptoms. My practice has always been focused on the BGLTQ+ Community, especially trans & gender diverse people, and polyamorous people. I have specialized training working with the trans community for 20+ years, and am pleased with how much the mental health field has advanced in providing respectful care. I tend to see a lot of geeky and neurodivergent people. (Please note if contacting me: it will save time if you include your insurance company and whether HMO or PPO. Not currently seeing couples.)
Online Therapy
I work with clients who have a range of marginalized experiences & identities--LGBTQIA, BIPOC, immigrants & children of immigrants, sex workers, polyamorous & kink communities, neurodiverse & disabled folks. My clients usually come in wanting to work on anxiety, depression, dissociation, life transitions, gender transitions, suicidal ideation, abuse & trauma, domestic & partner violence and more.
Online Therapy
My clients tend to identify as LGBTQ, kinky, poly/ENM or identify as having a non-traditional relationship dynamic. They are usually searching for someone to help them navigate hurdles without having to explain the nuts and bolts of their sexuality, career, or lifestyle.
