About My Clients
I enjoy working with college students and adults wanting to re-connect with who they are and what’s important to them. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma-related disorders. My primary goal is to create a relationship in which you feel able to explore your most deeply held wants and needs. Together we will identify patterns of thinking and feeling that derail you from living the life you want to live, and discuss strategies for finding freedom from them.
My Background and Approach
I believe people are inherently oriented towards growth and positive change, if given enough time, space, and compassion to find their own way forward. I am also trained in ACT and MBSR, two types of therapy that develop regulation skills through mindfulness practice. I am also trained in EMDR, which aims to help people process unresolved trauma.
