I provide individual psychotherapy for a broad range of adult mental health problems including depression, anxiety, work stress and relationship concerns. In addition, I have interests in trauma and PTSD, geriatric mental health, caregiver support, coping with chronic medical illnesses, insomnia and telehealth for individuals who are homebound because of disability. Couple's therapy is provided on a limited basis.
Being the victim of childhood trauma or narcissistic abuse can contribute to a wide range of physical, emotional, and psychological symptoms. It can make it difficult for you to trust others and maintain healthy relationships. Trauma and abuse of this nature becomes stored in the body, and may result in you feeling triggered, and suffering from mood swings, depression, and perhaps even feelings of guilt or shame. I specialize in EMDR therapy to help you heal from trauma and narcissistic abuse.
If you are experiencing the symptoms of complex trauma and dissociation, we will be a great fit! Maybe you are looking for an assessment to discover where you fall in the dissociative continuum, or maybe you are seeking EMDR treatment. Perhaps you find yourself in a partnership where trauma symptoms are creating challenges in the relationship and you are considering couples/relationship therapy.
