About My Clients
If you have found yourself inconsolable after your pet died, please know that you're normal. Because our emotional bonds with our pets are so strong, their death can produce a level of pain that is hard to describe. After a loss, we can struggle between the life we had and the reality we now are faced with. Grief counseling provides a space for you to talk about how this loss (and others) is impacting your life. I look forward to teaching you tools to bring healing into your life.
My Background and Approach
I feel that the most beneficial aspect of therapy is establishing a good therapeutic relationship. This means that we work together to build skills that resolve your pain and create new purpose in your life. Using a strengths-based approach, I can provide education, support and skills that help you change beliefs and feelings that may be keeping you from moving forward.
