About My Clients
I am most interested in working with individuals, couples, and non-monogamous relationships who are navigating life transitions, stress management and gender identity and sexuality. I work with sexual minorities to address concerns including internalized homophobia, the coming out process, sexual orientation, gender identity and transitioning. As an Army veteran, I have an intimate understanding of the challenges experienced by service members including transitioning to civilian life.
My Background and Approach
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. I am most interested in working with individuals, couples, and non-monogamous relationships who are navigating life transitions, stress management and sexuality. As an Army military veteran, I have an intimate understanding of the challenges experienced by other service members. In the therapy room, I focuse on connecting with clients using multicultural and strength-based values. I work with clients to examine areas of improvement and focuses on collaboratively creating goals while building healthy coping skills to ensure clients reach those goals.
