About My Clients
Everybody deserves to feel like their life has meaning and potential. It is hard to feel like we deserve that sometimes. For those who's identity does not fit in with the norms of society, it can be even harder to explore who you are and find your meaning and full potential. It can be confusing when you feel like you are the only person who feels this way.
My Background and Approach
I am here to offer you a space to explore your identity and to help you develop a more holistic understanding of yourself, resolve your concerns, and foster your ability to form meaningful relationships with others. I am especially interested in helping empower those in the queer and LGBT community to live their best lives. I also offer support for the parents of adolescents in this community. I personally understand how hard it is to be a part of this community, especially in a semi-rural city such as Yakima and it's surrounding areas. A strong relationship is key to therapeutic change. I approach every client with warmth, curiosity, and sometimes humor to build a relationship that is collaborative, authentic, and geared for growth. I look forward to helping others in the wonderful queer and LGBT community of Yakima!
