About My Clients
I am currently taking new individual adult clients.
My Background and Approach
Some of the client issue I can help with include depression, co-dependency, childhood trauma, men's issues, and creating more intimacy and passion in your relationships. I incorporate mindfulness-based approaches of Hakomi, Recreation of Self (RC-S), attachment work, and trauma resourcing to help clients process their experiences with deepening understanding, compassion for self and others, and opening to life-serving growth. I've been in practice since 2015 and have been specializing in mindfulness-based depth work, trauma resourcing, and attachment. I completed a Masters Degree in Counseling in Clinical Mental Health at Portland State University. In addition, I completed a year-long internship practicing mindfulness-based, somatic therapy approaches with the M.E.T.A Counseling Clinic. Previous to my internship, I had completed the two-year M.E.T.A. Comprehensive Training program. I also assisted in teaching the M.E.T.A Comprehensive year one program in 2015 to deepen my training.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
One of the most important factors that predicts successful therapy is the relationship between us. Our working alliance must allow you to trust, feel safe, and feel open. I strive to attune and collaborate with you to help build a safe, authentic connection that will serve your healing and growth.
