About My Clients
I want to help individuals and couples heal from abuse and trauma and I offer Brainspotting which is a way to reprocess emotionally charged memories in a neurological way. I love helping couples work through conflict and find ways to communicate in a healthier way. I also have a heart for the recovery population all 12 step programs in general and helping those who have had religious abuse.
My Background and Approach
I have been on my own healing journey since I was 19 and have learned through my own process with therapists and recovery groups while teaching in metro schools. I went back to grad school in 2017 and became a counselor in 2020 in order to give back what I have been given. I am a person centered therapist and believe there is not a one size fits all approach. I try to learn each client and co create goals with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I stand for BLM and LGBTQ issues as well as inclusivity for the disabled. I believe that everyone deserves the dignity to find their own path to a God of their own understanding.
