Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced-based cognitive behavioral treatment that has proven effective to alleviate emotional distress and suffering. This group is open to adults (18+) interested in developing skills that will: • Increase awareness of thoughts, urges and feelings • Increase ability to cope with intense emotions • Decrease impulsive and self-destructive behaviors • Learn how to effectively communicate needs
