About My Clients
I'm a queer and neurodivergent therapist who specializes in working with those healing from complex trauma, survivors of emotionally immature parents and narcissistic abuse, LGBTQIA+ folks, and autistic and ADHD adults. I offer a warm, collaborative, and compassionate space that allows us to work together on deepening your understanding of yourself and connection to others while moving towards an embodied sense of healing, growth, and self-compassion.
My Background and Approach
I practice with a strong awareness of the inextricable link between systemic oppression and mental health while blending various modalities that are tailored to the unique needs of each client that serve to foster safety within our bodies, calm emotional and sensory dysregulation, increase connection, and strengthen our own authentic voices. I work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens utilizing various modalities in my practice such as relational, psychodynamic, DBT, RO-DBT, somatic, attachment, and mindfulness-based therapies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
From my perspective, being a neurodiversity affirming practitioner means that I don’t believe neurodivergent people need to be “treated” but rather understood and affirmed for who they are. I strongly stand against ABA “treatments” that traumatize the autistic people they serve. As a queer therapist, I have a deep understanding of how navigating a cis-hetero world impacts our own mental health. I provide an affirming space for people across the gender and sexuality spectrum that is sex, kink, and poly-positive.
