It truly takes a village, and I am happy to be a part of yours.

I have worked as a trauma informed bodyworker since 2009, and have completed EMDR training. I am beginning my journey to become a somatic experiencing practitioner this year, as I beleive fully in mind body integration when it comes to trauma healing.

I understand that everyone’s healing journey is unique, filled with special joys and challenges. My personal path to recovery includes a vast array of healing modalities and spreads to a network of healers across Austin to settle my nervous system, realign my energetic body, and create more positive thinking. Solace was found in books, prayer, meditation, songwriting, kundalini and vinyasa yoga, breathwork, bodywork, sound healing, and more.

Person centered therapy is all about you - understanding your unique strengths and challenges and always meeting you where you are with unyeilding compassion. This is acceptance without conditions. It is simple and allows you to come as you are, without fear of judgement.

I work with complex trauma and family of origin dysfunction to help you uncover relationship patterns and coping skills. These coping skills may have been helpful when you were younger, but now are maladaptive in most scenarios. Using somatic experiencing, we can unlock where these traumas are hiding in your body and you can develop new healthy coping skills.
