About My Clients

As if being a woman in leadership isn't challenging enough, when you add in the color of your skin, the difficulties multiply tenfold. When you find yourself working harder than all the rest, enduring microaggressions and even macroaggressions, getting passed up by the lighter skinned folks, and then failing at home and in your relationships as a result of trying to do all the things, you need a fellow woman of color therapist who gets it.

My Background and Approach

I'm a hustler, an achiever, and over-doer just like you. And I've lived through the subtle microaggressions and the more obvious macroaggressions (outright racism at it's best) which might be familiar to you. When I started learning about the effects of colonization, enslavement, and the ways it impacts us and makes it harder for us to advance in life, my world started to open up in tremendous ways. Why I was working with broken tools in my relationships, why I had a strive to constantly do better and be better than the rest while feeling not enough inside—it all started to make sense. I was dealing with the effects of the toxic colonial, capitalist, supremacist, patriarchy, and I imagine you are, too. How can you thrive in a culture that benefits from your exploitation? By taking the time to take care of you. When you're ready to be held and supported, to have a safe place to land where you can show up and be seen as ALL of you, I'm here for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm passionate about helping women of color heal from the effects of racial trauma as it has been passed down through the generations. Our bodies hold wisdom and as women we've been carrying generations of pain that gets in the way of us having the lives, relationships, and careers we want to have. Your quest to live as your best self will be never ending if you don’t address the ways culture and society has told you who you are and how you should live. If you're a BIPOC woman in leadership, you're here, and you're ready to undo the effects of the past that hold you back, then please visit my website where you can fill out an inquiry form. That's the fastest way for us to be in touch. I look forward to supporting you!
