About My Clients

You may have found yourself here because you feel stuck or because you are experiencing pain and suffering. Or perhaps you have found yourself here because you seek to make a change or want to improve your relationships with others. Whatever the reason, psychotherapy can help. You may feel stuck or need guidance to recognize the knowledge, skills, and expertise you already possess in order to move forward in your life.

My Background and Approach

You have a unique story you carry with you and as a result you will have unique needs. I am curious about what you have experienced and how you make sense of those experiences. I take into account the culture, environment, social connections, and other factors that have shaped each individual with whom I work. My aim is to empower you to draw meaning from your lived experiences, and to re-author a preferred story of hope and healing. I believe people seek human connection and relatedness. I take time to learn about your childhood, family, and past experiences. Maladaptive relational patterns develop early in life and are often underlying presenting complaints as they are maintained in current relationships. Through the therapeutic relationship and a focus on the here and now, I can provide you with a new understanding and a new experience. We will work together collaboratively towards healing, change, and growth.
