About My Clients

I have a special interest in working with individuals 18 years or older who are impacted by an eating disorder, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, and or concerns related to gender identity or sexual orientation.

My Background and Approach

I am currently working as a part-time equine facilitated psychotherapist, and have a telehealth private practice. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Webster University, in Webster Groves, MO; my Masters of Social Work at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, MO. My clinical licensure (state of Oregon and Tennessee) was received following several years of post graduate work and supervision in settings such as crises services, in-patient, out-patient, and residential care. I integrate a variety of evidenced based treatments into my practice including: dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based strategies

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the inherent goodness of all humans. I believe in our power to grow, learn, and heal at every stage of life. Being a social worker, it is in my core values to fight for social justice and marginalized communities and populations of people. Beyond, therapeutic modalities, I believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. My goal is to create a safe place and space for you to do the work needed to achieve your desired goals.

I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Atheism
  • Christianity
  • Judaism
