I have a passion for helping people and I have experience working with various people using various psychological therapies. Providing assistance to people in need to live happier, more productive and effective lives are my specialty. Addressing past trauma to learn to move forward is an area I have extensive experience in.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Provisional License in Marriage and Family Therapy at Foresight Denver. I received my Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, client-centered approach that empowers people to make appropriate decisions for their lives and their families. Solution-Focused therapies to address immediate concerns to enhance the therapeutic experience. Building rapport with professional relationships to help empower clients to move in a forward direction with their lives. I have experience working with children, teens, adults (18-65+ years), homeless individuals, veterans, incarcerated and community re-entry individuals utilizing interventions from Cognitive Behavioral therapies, Strength-Based approaches, and Mindfulness practices.
