What I Specialize In
I am a certified perinatal therapist, which means I have additional training supporting clients with perinatal concerns like trying to conceive, infertility, pregnancy loss, perinatal anxiety & depression, postpartum anxiety & depression, and new parenthood. In addition to my training as a perinatal therapist, I have experience and training in sex therapy & couples therapy. This means I’m comfortable talking about your experiences around sexuality & bringing that part of your life and relationship into the therapy process. I love working with couples around trying to conceive, pregnancy, and parenthood too! You’ll find that I’m compassionate, supportive, & encouraging. I like to help you understand why you’re struggling & also help you build tools that can move you towards your goals. I believe it’s possible to feel more at ease & fulfilled and I truly look forward to having the privilege of working with you!
Why I am a Good Fit for You
I understand how you may be feeling! I experienced a traumatic birth and postpartum anxiety with my first child. This experience deepened my passion for supporting folks like you. I understand how overwhelming, sweet, lonely, exhausting, special, stressful, & anxiety-provoking this time in life can be. Through my personal experience and professional training, I hope to offer you a space to heal, grow, and find relief. I understand that adding another thing to your plate can feel incredibly overwhelming when you’re already struggling. It’s common for new parents to push off their own needs and self care because of how much energy is given to caring for your baby. I want to encourage you to prioritize your mental health.
