About My Clients

Raising a healthy, balanced kid can be challenging. Stressors, including academics, relationships, and transitions, impact how they are doing. Children and teens may feel overwhelmed, sad, anxious, or depressed. They can have trouble sleeping or eating, become irritable or withdrawn, and experience pain or illness. Many benefit from therapeutic support and skill development to help them cope.

My Background and Approach

I can help by providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk about stressors and challenges. My client, their parents, and I work together to develop an understanding of what brings them to therapy and ways to help them move forward and feel better. No parent wants their kid to experience pain. You are here and seeking support, which is the first step towards change. If you would like to touch base about your your child or teen's needs, please contact me for a free phone consultation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every person, the right to self-determination, and the human potential for growth and change. I am a huge proponent of group therapy as a treatment modality and am currently recruiting for a Stressbusters for Teens group, which will take place on Saturdays beginning in October. Private pay, HSA, Out of Network.
