About My Clients
I have worked with clients with multicultural backgrounds who have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, medical conditions, and adjustment issues. I have worked with clients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including schools, community clinics, private practice, and skilled nursing facilities. I specialize in working with older adults and adults with physical disabilities.
My Background and Approach
I have a master's degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University - LA and a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Alliant International University - LA, emphasis in multicultural community-clinical psychology. During the process of therapy, I strive to help clients develop an increased sense of autonomy and purpose. I also help clients develop healthy ways of coping with stressors, as life is inevitably filled with difficulties and obstacles. Through therapy, I want to help my clients reduce negative thoughts/behaviors and create more effective and adaptive thought patterns that allow for healthy living. My goal is to help clients achieve a stable, long-lasting sense of self that encompasses all areas of life by providing a safe and supportive environment through which clients can thrive.
