About My Clients
Your life looks great from the outside and you've done everything you were supposed to be happy and successful. But despite achieving your dreams, you still don't feel good. You worry constantly, push yourself too hard at work, and overstretch yourself in your relationships. You might identify as a 1.5 or 2nd generation immigrant, a highly sensitive person, or someone who has experienced complex trauma, like emotional neglect and relational or developmental trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have extensive training in treating complex, deep-rooted concerns in children and adults, as well as in providing assessment, including assessing trauma and autism. This breadth and depth of training, across ages and treatment modalities, make me uniquely suited to understand and treat on-going challenges. We will work together to help you show up how you want to in your life and relationships through accessing your strengths, approaching problems systemically and relationally, and using an approach tailored to your unique needs. I work to create a nonjudgmental and supportive environment in which together we can explore these challenges, heal wounds, engage your strengths, and learn new skills to help you live your best life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of every human being. Respect, authenticity, and true kindness are all important values to me. I value the important roles of relationships, family, and community. I also want to help clients heal intergenerational trauma, unlearn unhelpful self-criticism, reduce their anxiety, and heal from societal traumas.
