About My Clients
Holding it together on the outside but feel VERY different inside? Do you feel gripped by anxiety, self-doubt, anger, dread, fear, or numbness? Getting to know yourself takes time and intention - and often the support of a confident guide. You can love what it feels like to come home to your life.
My Background and Approach
I believe change happens through compassionate accompaniment in intentionally held spaces that allow us to explore and integrate parts of ourselves that are causing inner tensions. Through an accepting and supportive environment therapy helps to regulate emotion and promote lasting change. * My practice is rooted in brain-body science and supports you through non-judgemental exploration of internal conflicts, fears, and inner critics. I help clients move from internal fighting and harsh judgment to understanding and collaboration. This work provides you with building blocks for a new, and beautiful, relationship with yourself and your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe individualism has negatively impacted our lives making us believe vulnerability and interdependence is weakness. I believe we are stronger, healthier, and happier together. I am relationship positive and support all my clients to flourish in healthy loving relationships - in whatever form that takes. * I benefit from unearned privilege. I believe it is my responsibility to continuously unlearn and uproot racism, classism, ableism and heteronormative bias in my own life and address systems that perpetuate systemic oppression. My family supports organizations like Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery and ReconciliAsian. The world needs everyone whole and beautiful! * Being authentic is important to me. I had brain surgery in my early 30's. That did a number on reorganizing my values and led me to become a therapist. I love being a mom, making things with my hands, and am excited to celebrate 26 years with my partner this year.
