About My Clients
Seeking out a therapist can be a challenge as well, but my goal is to help you find the strength to feel complete once again. I believe strongly in showing up authentically and over the years I have been successful in helping others learn how to live authentically as well. I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ Community and have received extensive education on how to help this community through the struggles that they may face. I have experience with family conflict, depression, and thinking disorders.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Masters Degree of Social Work at the University of North Dakota and my Bachelors Degree at Northern Michigan University. I am able to offer tele-health services and will be offering in-person sessions in the upcoming future. I take a strength-based approach and believe strongly in being culturally sensitive. I use motivational interviewing skills to help guide you through whatever you feel is important to you at that time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I make it a point to participate in events and causes that I feel are important to me. I am a strong advocate for individual choices and ensuring that people have access to the services that they need to make help them be successful in life. I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ Community and do not believe that resources should be limited based off the people who you love.
