Chelsea RobinsonPsychotherapist, MSW, LSW, CTP
I graduated with my Master of Social Work from Temple University in 2020 and am pursuing clinical licensure. I pull from a variety of evidence-based approaches that will complement your preferences and therapy goals. I use solution-focused and crisis intervention techniques for problem-solving, person-centered communication to help you feel seen and heard, as well as trauma-informed techniques to help you continue to recover and feel secure. I often apply cognitive-behavioral approaches and enjoy transferring dialectical behavioral therapy skills to benefit anyone who needs support with navigating both the good and bad in life—which includes all of us! Intersectionality also guides my practice. I realize that your experiences are unique and strongly influenced by the many layers of your identity—such as gender and religion—that can intensify your challenges. Other techniques that I gravitate toward include motivational interviewing and feminist or empowerment-focused approaches.
