I work with clients to help them better navigate their experiences and move through the world as their most aligned, authentic and grounded version of themselves. My practice is grounded in the understanding that systemic oppression, intergenerational trauma and societal pressures affect us each differently. I honor the experiences you bring with you as a client, and I know that you and you alone are the expert on your lived experience.
I pride myself on being adaptable. I'm not here to tell you who you are, what kind of work you're ready to do, or what you should strive to achieve in your life. Since I opened my practice over a decade ago, I've been open and receptive to those in the area that have sought me out. I strive to care, listen, and understand you and how you see things. Coming out of that, we'll work to determine the best way toward the growth you want.
Walking through life in an increasingly challenging world can leave us feeling out of touch with ourselves, bending to who we think we “should” be, and unsure of who we want to be. I work with my clients to help them embrace their natural curiosity, explore the patterns/behaviors that feel incongruous with their values, challenge the negative self-talk that holds them back, and help them to engage more fully in the joy that life can hold.
I enjoy working with individual, teens (15+), families and couples from a collaborative standpoint. I aid in cultivating alternative stories for those that want to work through multi-generational trauma and identity work. I have special interest in helping couples navigate boundaries, intimacy, building trust and connection. My interests includes sex therapy and relational counseling, particularly non-dominant relationships structures, intimacy and desires.

I work with adults ages 18 and older (if 18, must be out of high school). All genders and orientations are welcome and the groups are not gender-specific. I work with clients at different stages in their recovery and help them to address any ambivalence.
My clients are varied as I have a few non-related specialties. I specialize in reproductive mental health (pregnancy, postpartum, loss and infertility), queer family systems, and neurodivergent adults. . I'm passionate about serving people who feel marginalized in society or live outside the box; LGBTQIA+, those in non-nuclear relationships, gamers/nerds, single parents, and anyone else who has interest or identities that society doesn't affirm/welcome.
I am a trauma-informed and licensed clinician and art therapist who specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma healing, gender and sexuality, coming out, divorce/seperation, and personal creative and vocational goals. I work with individuals of all backgrounds and orientations and have experience with older teens and adults including LGBTQIA+ and gender-fluid /non-conforming folks. I work often with artists and “helpers” such as healers, teachers, therapists and health or community workers.
I empower individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, shame, low self-esteem & communication issues to find deep, wholehearted contentedness and inner-freedom. Using a feminist, anti-racist, trauma-informed, gender & sexuality affirming lens, my goal is to help you grow in love with yourself and your people. You are deserving of your love, and contentment and joy in your relationships is absolutely attainable.
Because of my life experiences, it is important that any client I meet with supports racial justice and queer liberation. I enjoy helping clients zoom out to see the long game, generations long even. Gentle self gratitude when clients reflect on their growth or the success of a therapeutic practice is my favorite. I work best with clients who are willing to be challenged by patterns that are reflected back in session. I consult with fellow therapists who help me to be held and challenged too!

You don't have to have it all figured out or even know where to begin. You just have to be curious about your story, your patterns, and what feeling better could look like. We'll find it together. My clients are ready to take a step toward the unknown in pursuit of wellness. They're ready to stop fighting their minds and bodies and instead develop a connection to themselves so they can live a life of well-being and contentment.
My ideal clients are neuroatypical, polyamorous queers trying to figure this life thing out, who need support & want to make art about it. They desire validation of their dreams & passions & long for encouragement in pursuing them! I strive to meet them where they're at, support their in-the-moment needs & "show up" with & for them; not just physically - emotionally as well. Ideally, you are ready to show up too - How do you show up for yourself? You're here, aren't you?
Folks come to therapy with pain, uncertainty, and big questions. Who am I really? How do I have better relationships? What’s the point of life? Is something wrong with me? Where do I belong? Can I heal? I bring to sessions boundless curiosity, caring challenges, and commitment to building trust at your own pace, all while keeping the focus on you. I’m here to help you embrace the intricate beauty and messiness of who you are.
My clients tend to have a history of complex trauma or developmental trauma that impacts both their relationships with others and their relationship with themselves. I offer a supportive, caring, and relational therapeutic space, as well as a somatic (body-centered) approach, to aid folks in finding relief from experiences such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and trauma symptoms. Currently, I am seeing clients via telehealth in Minnesota and Oregon.
My clients include a diverse array of individuals. From my viewpoint, diversity goes beyond racial, cultural and religious diversity. Diversity also includes differences in sexual orientation; gender identity; socioeconomic status; physical, psychological and educational ability; differences in resident status and a wide range of ages. In my view, diversity also includes diversity of thought. For how can we truly grow if we don't expand the pool of those we know and interact with?

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work best with relationships. I'm most passionate about working with intimate partnerships, no matter their status or structure. I have a special interest in working with non-normative relationships (non-monogamy, polyamory, kink/BDSM). On an individual level, I love working with sex (erotic energy, desire, etc.), sexual orientation, and gender (identity and expression). Pretty much anything that intersects with sexuality is my jam, normative or otherwise.
Have you been struggling with sexual behaviors, attractions, or thoughts that you've been acting on in secret and want to stop with the hurt and shame? Revive your sex life within your relationship(s), as it no longer feels you and your partner(s) are on the same page? The secrecy, shame, guilt, disconnect -- it feels exhausting -- and you do not have to continue to experience this hurt. I look forward to helping you rediscover yourself/relationship(s) in a new way without all the baggage.
