Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.

The couples, partners, and individuals I work with have various presenting concerns and intersecting identities, but many of them are Latinx/Latina, polyamorous, kinky, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ and/or QTPOC. I am passionate about supporting folks who have experienced personal, systemic, sexual, and relational difficulties due to traumatic life events (including systemic oppression) with somatic modalities and techniques to help increase regulation, pleasure, intimacy, ease, and sexual wellness.

Trauma shows up in unexpected ways and is often an underlying factor and/or outcome in several unwanted feelings and behaviors. Add neurodiversity in a world that wants us all to fit in the same box and it's a recipe for internalized shame. Let's talk! I can shine a light on some parts of self you likely haven't been introduced to yet. And together, we will uncover and utilize your own best assets! Quality of Life improvements can typically be seen within 1-3 months.

Therapy for People who feel deeply! I work with Teens and Adults. My clients are folks who may struggle with self-criticism: exhibiting itself as increased daily anxiety; maybe in their relationship with food (disordered eating), body image struggles, people-pleasing/perfectionism, or shame around their sensitive nature. I specialize in disordered eating and body image, anxiety, ADHD and neurodiversity, as well as supporting clients who identify as highly sensitive or empaths.
