About My Clients

I work well with clients who are self-reflective and curious about underlying patterns. I enjoy working with clients who are interested in understanding how the past may be showing up in the present. I welcome clients who see themselves in the context of their unique identities and culture.

My Background and Approach

I earned my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and am currently registered as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, #132951, and supervised by Gaea Woods, LMFT #117978. I have received in-depth training in object relations theory, intersubjective, relational, and psychodynamic psychotherapy from Valley Community Counseling Clinic. While at VCCC I worked with a broad range of clients with concerns including; anxiety, depression, obsessions/compulsions, anger management, substance use, trauma, disordered eating, grief/loss, relationship concerns, personality disorders, and family conflict. I participated in a process and reading group addressing issues of culture, identity, and intersectionality in psychoanalysis.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe the human experience is complicated and nuanced, especially when grappling with making meaning of it. Together, we can think about how your experiences have impacted you and get to know all the parts of your inner world. Through this process, we can uncover what is contributing to feeling stuck and encourage more self-acceptance and wholeness. Sometimes we need support moving through a big transition, other times we have a gnawing sense that something is not ok. Feeling chronically down or fearful may be warnings that something is out of balance. Therapy can provide a non-judgmental place to explore and open up more possibilities and aliveness.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
