I only work with adults experiencing circumstances which create either anxiety, depressed mood, loss and grief, identity and self-concept difficulties, relationship problems, traumatic memories, and also career development.
My Background and Approach
My therapy approach is quite straightforward and collaborative. It's structured to help you to experience a healthier and happier life. We'll begin by identifying the background of what prompted you to seek therapy. Then you develop skills and solutions to move forward toward that healthier and happier life. It's a collaborative approach. You and I work together through this process.
Depending upon the circumstances my therapy approach includes a combination of Mindfulness-based skills (MBSR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eastern perspectives (Zen Buddhist). These along with Systematic Desensitization when addressing traumatic memories.
