About My Clients
Trying to move past depression, anxiety, trauma, or feeling like no one cares about or sees you, can be overwhelming and feel hopeless. I completely connect to these feelings and have helped many people find hope and begin thriving in a curated and successful life. I have helped many couples do this together as well, moving past infidelity, broken trust, and deep feelings of hurt. There is hope and we can create it together.
My Background and Approach
I have spent many years gathering and perfecting the tools I use in sessions. I am mostly based in CBT but I consistently use EMDR in my sessions. I also pull from motivational interviewing, solution focused brief therapy, Imago therapy, and several others. I always try to come with a trauma focused lens as well. It is my believe that you are the expert on your life and I am here as an expert with tools to help you reach your goals. I have worked for the past 8 years, helping people move past the issues in their life, moving beyond just surviving and into thriving!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is capable of achieving an amazing curated life. The problem is the tools we were given. When given new tools, and ways to view the world, we are able to change our lives in dramatic and powerful ways. I am an active member in the LGBTQI+ community and feel very strongly about equality. Outside of private practice I also work for a community health organization to promote mental health for under served populations.
