I help clients look through their family of origin connections to help them discover their sources of anxiety, stress, and how those connections influence their present choices
I work with clients to help them understand how they see the world and to find meaning in their lives and experiences.
As a pastoral counselor and chaplain, I work with people of faith to allow them to use their faith as a tool for empowering their mental and psychological health. While I am trained in the Christian faith ( Masters of Divinity), I also have worked with people from Jewish and Islamic backgrounds as a chaplain. In particular, I have helped many people navigate through issues of grief and loss, anxiety, and finding meaning in life.
As an adoptive parent and counselor I understand the challenges faced in blending a family through adoption. I can work with you and your children on issues of grief and loss, identity formation, and attachment in blending your family.
As a person who has been married for over 24years I have walked through the rewards and challenges of marriage. I can work with you to help you communicate better with your spouse, and find ways to avoid marital drift and reconnect with one another.
