About My Clients
I help clients feel and function better in their daily lives, gain insight and self-awareness, and process past experiences. Together, we work to address obstacles so that you can feel equipped to make meaningful change in your life and live more purposefully. I work with client struggling with stress, anxiety, low self-esteem and anger. I also work with those struggling with substance abuse and addiction as well as managing life transitions.
My Background and Approach
My first step is for you to feel welcome and comfortable when meeting with me. I help clients re-discover their strengths, gain insight & achieve healthy lasting changes. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone should be treated fairly and with respect. I believe in embracing differences and that we can all learn from one another. I enjoy working with a diverse client population and learning how each person's cultural beliefs influence them personally
