About My Clients
Are you struggling with daily stressors or major life changes? Do your fears keep you from living the life you want? There comes a time when everyone needs a little help navigating many of life's challenges. My goal is to help you heal and find ways to work through the storm.
My Background and Approach
Terry graduated from Lesley University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy. She sees client who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions using a client-centered, strengths-based approach using talk therapy and expressive arts therapy. She also provides ERP & ACT for clients with OCD. Terry has worked with adults, teens, and children and facilitates a weekly high school girls therapeutic group. Terry has co-facilitated a Perinatal Depression & Anxiety group, a Mothers support group, a Mindful Parenting group, a social skills group for children ages 2-5. While in graduate school in Boston, she was a therapeutic elementary school counselor that provided support for children and their families as well as an Expressive Arts Therapist for Alzheimers and Dementia patients.
