About My Clients
Are you are feeling lonely, directionless, anxious, depressed, or facing difficulties in your relationships? Then it’s time to implement some self-care and seek counseling. In the session, we will be using evidence-based practices and a tailor-made treatment plan to help you meet your goals. For those who are also looking for a Christian spiritual component, I will provide it upon request!
My Background and Approach
I have been an educator for 10 years and have spent a lot of time not only teaching but helping children and families beyond the classroom. My desire to help others and my passion for mental health made transitioning to counseling a fitting career move. Since achieving my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am ready to continue this journey of helping you reach your goal and live the life that you deserve. I have experience working with teens, families, adults, and couples. Using the skills I have learned and implementing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), I will continue to work hard as I move towards licensure.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It’s time for you to smile again, and I don’t mean the one on your face, but the one on your heart. It’s time to find joy again. Sometimes it's hard to cope when things don’t go our way, but my goal with clients is to help them develop the tools they need in order to dance in the rain. Joy helps us endure the hard times while still having meaning and purpose in life. I am here to help you find your own path to serenity, to regain the joy of life that you may be missing. Therapy is a safe space for us to talk about your experiences and to develop a plan to help you achieve and maintain peace. I
