My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults using compassion-focused and strengths-based approaches that are tailored to meet your unique needs. I have extensive experience working with a diverse college student population with difficulties ranging from depression and anxiety to trauma, grief, relationship issues, and identity development. By integrating cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, multicultural, and mindfulness-based approaches with attachment theory, I strive to cultivate an environment where you can feel seen, heard, and supported as we process complexities and amplify your strengths and resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a firm believer in the power of self-compassion and the additive effect it can have on the quality of life. As your therapist, I will work with you to foster a compassionate inner voice as we alleviate obstacles and build the life you want to live. I believe that you are the expert on you.
