About My Clients
I have experience working with domestic violence survivors and their families. I help adults and young adults in finding the strength within themselves who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues and postpartum depression. In my therapy practice I work to be trauma informed and culturally sensitive. You do not have to power through life’s difficulties alone. I look forward to working with you.
My Background and Approach
I have experience in crisis counseling, DBT and holistic wellbeing. I attended eastern Michigan university for my bachelors studies and graduated with a bachelors in Social work. I then went on to Wayne state for my masters and studied Social Work interpersonal studies and family therapy. I have also completed the hours for doula certification.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Are you feeling lonely, anxious or stressed? My goal with therapy is to provide a brave space for you to release and feel comfort. I put my clients first in a person centered approach to allow you to feel heard. I hope to provide support in ways that you may not have felt before and assist in breaking down barriers to a new you. Dealing with the ups and downs life can present can be hard. You’ve made the right decision to find strength within yourself to keep pushing on.
