I work to empower you and explore patterns of behavior that may be keeping you from living your life to the fullest. I look at our first session as the first piece of a puzzle that we are putting together to make you feel whole again.
I'll help guide you by providing a safe place for you to talk and work on issues that you are currently experiencing from unresolved trauma or a present situation (such as a toxic relationship.) I will encourage and challenge you to be an active participant in your journey to mental wellness. I often assign "homework," such as challenging irrational thoughts for anxiety, to put into practice and discuss at our next session. I tend to be an "out of the box" thinker, as a therapist, when it comes to homework if the traditional therapies do not seem effective. I am open to what you feel is best for you.
