My ideal client is someone who is open to change and ready to explore the path towards a new beginning. My client will learn adaptive coping skills to manage symptoms of anxiety, anger, depression, stress, appetite and sleep issues. They will also develop confidence and improve their ability to set healthier boundaries. By the end of therapy, my client will walk away feeling prepared to face life challenges with a healthier perspective and fortitude.
My Background and Approach
My approach is client/person centered and culturally competent. I meet the client where they are and practice within the framework and scope of my training, work experience and comfortability. I support my clients by facilitating behavioral space for growth and change. This is carried out by coaching, guiding, teaching, reflective listening, affirming, validating and empowering them.
