People who contact us are usually doing so because they are experiencing difficulty in their personal relationships or are experiencing uncomfortable symptoms of stress, depression or anxiety. By the time people contact us they have usually been in distress for a long time. They want relief, they want answers and they don’t want to feel judged.
My Background and Approach
The psychotherapy relationship is one that is based on trust and understanding, which is imperative for healing to take place. The nature of our relationship will be a collaborative one where you and your counselor will work together to accomplish your goals.
We use an integrated counseling approach that combines Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with Person Centered Counseling. Our relationships are based on unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe in the importance of personal growth and that your thoughts impact both feelings and behaviors. When we work on your thinking, your feelings and behaviors will change.
