Stephanie Weiland (she/her/hers)

I have extensive experience in mental health through direct practice as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and a quality improvement specialist for non-profit clinical, youth, and family services and have maintained my licensed clinical social worker license for over four years. I've worked within the child welfare and school systems and understand the unique interplay of individual needs within larger systems. I am excited to transfer my clinical skills and understanding of the roles our environments have on our functioning to my private practice and partner with you on your therapeutic journey. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment model for youth, and have experience in treating a variety of trauma- and stressor-related and behavioral- and mood-based disorders using a person-centered, eclectic approach to services tailored to your unique needs and strengths. Together, we can work towards healing.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and deserves a life where they are thriving, not just surviving. We are a product of our experiences and I firmly believe that our mental health needs stem from a variety of adverse experiences in life and are not purely organic. Throughout my academic training and professional experience, I've learned about the profound impacts trauma can have on every domain of our lives, and have bore witness to the power of therapy to work through those experiences, be it through traditional talking, play, art, music, and even movement. I understand that therapy is hard, regardless of your age, and things may get worse before they get better. And that is okay. I will be with you in that journey.
