About My Clients
I am interested in working with clients seeking long-term therapy for past trauma, family of origin work, attachment difficulties, relationship trauma, and developing healthy coping tools. I believe all beings are capable of developing the skills to find peace within their bodies and their lives. I will help you to better understand yourself and find more joy in your relationships and daily life!
My Background and Approach
I am a mental health professional working with adults and teens using a holistic, liberation psychology lens. Trained as an art therapist, I utilize creativity to help you express yourself in ways that may not be verbal, but can express more sometimes than words. I use humor, authenticity, and active listening skills to make sure my clients feel fully heard and seen.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. Every month I attend a White Accountability group to increase my anti-racism knowledge, and my practice supports my beliefs in an anti-capitalist, feminist, and racially equitable society. I enjoy bringing creativity into the therapeutic space such as art materials, journaling, breathing / movement exercises, and humor. I have two pets - one is a blind dog named Luka who comes to in-person office sessions with me from time to time :)
