About My Clients

Overwhelmed? Feeling isolated? Struggle to find someone who "gets it"? Feeling completely misunderstood? Do you experience headaches, muscle tension, & chest tightness? Tried everything others told you would "help" but find no relief & feel stuck? You're not alone. Traditional talk therapy can help, but sometimes you need more. I support clients in their restorative work to integrate the pain of trauma, grief & loss through the use of multiple modalities and integrative approaches to healing.

My Approach to Helping

I offer a unique integration of Expressive Arts, EMDR, & Somatic therapies for people looking for a holistic approach to mental health wellness. No artistic ability is required, we focus on the experiential process. Combining creative expression & body-based work with traditional therapies aids the healing by working with the nervous system & the brain. I work with a multidisciplinary team of practitioners to provide holistic & collaborative care. Want to know more about my unique approach & how it can benefit you? My Values as a Therapist

I do not believe in giving clients a diagnosis because many diagnoses pathologize trauma, grief and loss. While I will give a client a diagnosis if they ask for it, I educate clients about how diagnosis can be used so clients can make informed decisions. Trauma, grief and loss has profound impact on our wellbeing, while understandable, this should not be pathologized, doing so has lead to the stigma in mental health we see today. We have been conditioned to ask "what is wrong with you?" when we should be asking "what happened to you?" We truly have been asking the wrong question because it has become culturally normalized. We must do better.
